Back box/Tailpipe

Featured Replies

Hiya,

Anyone know if the VRS back box will fit my 2.0tdi Elegance 07 plate? Just after a nice shiny tailpipe.

If so anyone know where i can get one and for how much?

You'll need a vRS valance too.

What the whole bumper?

If you dont mind them sticking out a couple of inches more than they should.

What do you mean by a valance?

Its the rear bumper.

Its the rear bumper.

So buy a VRS rear bumper of somewhere like ebay, get it sprayed up and then buy a seperate back box? Thats some money aint it.

Or you could do the Pikey version and get out the hacksaw blade on your exisiting bumber :-)

There are suitable chrome tailpipes for the non Vrs/sport rear bumper, they are a little bit shorter than the Vrs ones so they don't stick out to much past the shallower normal bumper.

BUMP

Anyone know what the exact distance is?

Having a custom system made up, and will swap to a vRS bumper eventually, so it's easier to have the exhaust made to suit now - rather than the other way round!

Cheers,

Steve

If you are only behind a shiny new tail pipe

skoda

Part number - FDC 610002

& if yours is a combi -FDC 620001

Dual pipe stainless steel exhaust tip....only for visual purpose no actual difference in performance...

No. I'm having a complete custom exhaust system made up, which will include some tailpipes! So I'm after the difference in overall size between the vRS bumper and the standard bumper, as fitted to my Elegance.

Thank-you.
