I will be a Skoda owner in 2 weeks.

I live in the great southern land of Australia.

Used to live in Scandinavia but it was way to cold and since I really enjoy to ride my motorbikes I found Australias climate was perfect for riding.

But once in a while it is nice to have a car for example when doing shopping or when it does rain so I did a LOT of research about cars and found that many people put Skoda high on their wish list.

Found a demo Octavia 103TDI manual with 85 km on the clock (53 miles) with extras for under AUD$30K (probably just under 20K Pounds) which was pretty cheap in my books at least for an imported European car.

I will ask a lot of questions and also if I can answer questions as well on this great forum.
