RUMBLING FROM FRONT B/HEAD AREA

Featured Replies

OWN A O2 OCKY VRS AT LOW SPEEDS (10-20) MPH HAVE A RUMBLING NOISE FROM THE CENTER B/HEAD AREA.

CHANGED ALL SUSPENSION PARTS CHECKED STEERING COMPONENTS,ENGINE MOUNTS AND ANYTHING ELSE

THAT MAY COME ADRIFT. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME OTHER AVENUES OF THOUGHT THANKS.

It could be a wheel bearing or worse case a worn gearbox bearing(which will mean a new or recon gearbox) on my old mk1 vrs it wasnt a wheel bearing it was the gearbox.

Thanks for the reply I haven't changed the wheel bearing do have some backlash in the diff.

I'll have a go at the wheel bearing first as its the cheapest option. I'll let you know what happens.

Cheers Mikey vrs
