Falken 452 cost

Featured Replies

Checked at a local supplier in Northampton and he will do Falken 452 (205/50/17) a smidgen under £400 for the four fitted etc all in. Ebay is typically £300 plus fitting - or travelling which costs to another part of the UK.

So anybody think I can do considerably better? also bear in mind Toyo proxes about the same price.

camskill http://www.camskill.co.uk/ are pretty good on tyre prices, have you checked on there

I paid £340 fitted for 4 x 452's. Local independent garage in Cardiff. It's worth trawling yellowpages & phoning around as often they'll ask you what prices you've been quoted.

As said above Camskill mate!

Check Blackcircles too. I noticed the other day, while looking for a work mate that they had an offer on the 452s. It wasn't in this exact size, but worth a check anyway.

They offer a fully fitted option on there.

I run FK 452's, cheapest is to order them from camskill and go to a tyre fitting place even a local place. I went to National Tyre's and with ordering the tyres and paying the fitting and disposal of old tyres it cost £380 at most. I would have to dig out the receipts.

I used black circle for mine and chose the fitted option very easy was delivered straight to the fitting centre on time

I paid £272 for four recently. I had too endure Pontypridd for that price though (It ain't that bad up there lol)

Shop around

Camskill is the one like. Going there on sat for tyres balance and tracking. The benefits of it being less than a mile from home.

Try also Protyre. Our local Protyre (called Island Tyres) quoted me £300 inc vat, fitting, balance etc. for Falken FK's. (Although I am in the motor trade which helps  ) Are FK452's any good in the wet? I read somewhere that they are summer tyres..

I hate them with a passion but others like them. I guess its down to how you drive, your car set up and personal preference.

Stef, theres direct tyres in Bletchley, they do me toyo's fitted to the fabia for £60 a corner balanced and all!

might be worth a go?

Give Sue a call on 01908 367770 and say Jake with Silver Fabia sent you. should be able to get a decent price :)

You see, this is what annoys me. Inconsistency with nationwide chains. My local National Tyres point blank refuses to fit any tyres that haven't been bought from them. It's a pain in the neck as there's one just across from work.

Handily I know a really good bloke at a local garage who does them for me, but it's just annoying that a tyre-only fitting service is still some kind of taboo among UK garages! :dull:

Thanx M8. I'll try them nearer the time. Does give me some leverage at the local place. They have always been good at supplying part used, and other jobs. reckon if I can get him down to £380ish, sounds about right. Big advantage is he's there if any probs.

MacSam tyres

Try Event Tyres, about £70 per tyre all in and they come to you.

Just out of interest, has anyone tried the ZIEX ZE-912s yet? Local bloke reckons that the 452 is approaching the end of its lifespan and they're seeing the 912 pushed far more. Non-directional tread this time, and with a clearer all-weather pattern - seem to be getting decent reviews too,  noting however that the turn-in response isn't quite as sharp.

I had the 512's once and I thought they were pooh tbh.

I had these on my Fabia Vrs. If the weatherman said it might rain I went on the Bus

Utter Rubbish,

The 912s are OK (have them on my Capri) but they arent a high end performance tyre.

Anyone using Black circles should have a look around google for a discount code. There are a few buzzing round for 5%, which if you're spending over £400, is a decent saving.

Just sorted 4 Falken 452s locally for £340, fully fitted. Should be in tomorrow. Finally get to say byebye to those poxy Nankangs - I may host a celebration evening...

Since posting I have had a quote from Scotts Tyres at just under £340 fitted, balanced etc B) . Saving up now for four as rears are SunewCr*P or something. fronts are worn. Great for spinning wheels in third

Just had the new boots fitted, will see how it goes :) Had a bit of a 'moment' on the way back as they were scrubbing in :)

I have just ordered my Falken FK452's aswell, lol. Got them for £300 quid fitted, inclusive of vat etc..
