Had always thought this car would be the perfect fabia to fit a 1.8t.. Wouldnt be wise converting a vrs, yet this looks just like a vrs, would be sweet.. someone buy it and do it:D

i don't like it the only thing that turns my head well lifts my eyebrows :o is the milage.... I'd never buy a car with mileage as high as that.

what is wrong with a car that has done 130k, especially a diesel engine?

mine has done 158k and is still going very strong

I really want the interior. More of a poke man than a tuck man though.

Hmm definately not my thing!

Somebody has obviously spent a LOT on this car though - and fair play to them.

All go with no show is where it's at B)

Yep get rid of the VRS and 1.9 tdi badges, stick the standard bumpers on, and get buying those 1.2 htp badges :D

well not everyone keeps up to cars aswell as some people, so i'd never risk buying a car with high milage because there's more likely to be things wrong with it.

just my opinion and i'm sure i won't be alone in what i think.

A car that has been sat in damp conditions never getting dried out by being driven with things rusted away is probably a worse buy than a high mileage car. So long as a high mileage car has full service history I'd gladly buy one with 130k miles on it. A high mileage car that's put the miles on on the motorway is even better. Think of it another way, many of the things that were going to fail have failed already and been fixed for you. Things can go wrong on cars high mileage or not, and at least you know it hasn't been clocked :)

+1

A really low mileage car could potentially be a much worse buy, as they never get warm, some people get too hung up on buying really low mileage cars and never think about this.

head turner yes....its gorgeous, but if it were driving by your head will never have turned as slow before...

I believe it's been up for sale for quite a while as well, but it's a good example

fair comment about the service history i wouldn't buy a car without it, just because the car has got high milage doesn't mean it still hasn't been clocked my mate has got a crappy old r reg pug with about 150-200k on it and we found out that it had been clocked before. Now that car is a prime example of what i meen, you really have to see it, its a proper shed!

Dreadful

its far from dreadful, jus painfully slow....I bet you get in it, and when you get out its yesterday

:giggle:

if i was to buy it it would have to have a nice vr6 engine conversion !
