Hi all, just changed the oil and filter in my 01 octavia 1.4 16v 3 weeks ago,driving home from football last night the red oil light started flashing,got out and checked it out,full of oil,no leaks,any ideas?

Have you checked the oil pressure?

possibly oil pick up in the sump is blocked or oil pump.

any rattling from enigine?

what oil did you use?

Oil pick up strainer is probably blocked. Don't drive the car as you could wreck the engine internals & turbo.
