Putting the Yeti to Work

Featured Replies

Mrs picked the Yeti up midweek, so today was my first chance to see if the bikes fitted and how practical as a bike carrier it's going to be. Top marks so far bikes fitted, with associated baggage (not shown)

Liking the Yeti, lovely to drive, three little observations, need to sort proper iPod integration, not used to where the handbrake is, as it seems very close to drives seat but will get used to that, and it would be nice for the doors to auto lock when driving off other than that a great car and well put together, lets that continus once we have owned it for a few months and the honeymoon period is over. :)

Here are some pictures.

Hi,

glad to hear your pleased with your new Monster :) regard the Autolock this can be set up in the Maxidot menue.

Regards,

TP

If you have Maxidot, you should be able to activate the anti hijack facility, failing that your friendly dealer can sort it for you .

The hand brake position is not a major problem if your Yeti is fitted with hill hold control.

Autolock is key specific. You have to do it for each key.

No idea!!!

I learnt that one by one day borrowing my wife's keys and thinking something was wrong

Ok, better set my wifes key up or it won't autolock for her.

Glad I read this thread as I was oblivious to the "auto-lock" function and I'm currently using the manual method (eg pressing the button by the handbrake). Will be popping out to set it up shortly :D
