Uniroyal Rainsport tyres... What are they like?

Featured Replies

Anyone use them / rate them / want to scare me off using them? :D

Thanks

they are round things with a hole in the middle... usually fitted to a netal rim on each corner of the car...

had uniroyals in the past... not bad tyres.. usually quite pricey so if you find em cheap then go for it... would say not as good a PZ nero or Toyo proxes etc but decent enough

Not an issue now, as I've managed to find somewhere local in Somerset that'll do me toyo proxes t1-s for

i have had them on my previous car jase, top tyre great wet grip, wore better than toyo's or goodyear eagle f1 i had had previously, not quite as good in the dry as the toyo or f1.

but its irrelevant now

Nice to know still though.

It was a toss-up (yeah, I am a ****** ;)) between

uniroyal are made by continental and are their cheaper after market brand. However they are good qualtiy tyres that I would rate above all these wierd jap sounding brands.

I use Uniroyle Rain Sports 205/40/17 Very good in the wet, Kicks up loads of spray, Bit noisy in the dry,
