BORED at work...so made a vent pod

Featured Replies

had a spare vent knocking about so thought i would kill the boredom and make another pod :giggle:

wasnt prepared to utilise my A pillar again so thought i would knock up a vent one instead. its basically a fibreglass insert that can be removed and the vent can be put back to a standard vent again if needs be.

it does'nt look much cop at the mo but its out again at the minute as it needs a lip on it like the ones you can buy (£75 :giggle: )

hopefully it will stop me getting bored and will be finished soon unless i lose interest

agreed :giggle:

was always gonna need a lip on it as the vent curves and the gauge didnt sit right in it, hopefully it will look ok

From start to finish it's took about 5-6 hours 'ish'

I've had to paint it red for the moment as I've no other paint here at work  and needed to see if the paint would sink.

your hands must hurt !

... Well you could paint the your new grill black ...

or you could go with the red theme, here's a matching steering wheel :D

ps not being serious ;)

( wheel would fit an Octy though - ebay listing )

that 5-6 hours was from when i actually first started it to how it is now (not including drying time), not sanding time :giggle:

as for the steering wheel i already have one
