Currently own a Clio 172 Cup, but the family has expanded, so time for a bigger, but fun car. I've had my eye on the Octavia vRS for a while, and now an opportunity has arisen.

I've been offered these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200540252822&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 - The guy wants my car plus £500 in exchange

or

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290497230877&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 - Straight swap, but the V5 shows its been in an accident in 2005, which I assume would be a cat D?

Can anyone offer any advice? I'm leaning heavily towards the first option, but that then values my 2003 Cup (with 50k mileage) at only £2800, which seems peanuts?

Thanks!

Mike

(Just noticed I clearly can't spell the word "Looking" in the subject title! Fail!)

1st one is okay but would question why a second hand turbo was used and what happend to the first one!!!! 9 times out of 10 its something else wrong that has caused the turbo to fail so bear this in mind with that one ( i would want a straight swap to )

as for the second one overpriced big time as its a catd and 03 with tha milage i would say 2k tops

there are lots on the market choose carefully some minters out there but also alot of overpriced crap aswell

The first one looks like the better buy as the second one looks a bit expensive for a Cat D or C (depending on how bad the damage was)
