VRS not starting

Featured Replies

i pulled away from the lights 2day in first put it into 2nd and my car seemed to cut out! had a diagnostic test from the recovery team and didnt pick up a fault!

spoke to a few guys and they think it might be a block in the system or something to do with the fuel pump.

any ideas?

Could be a failed turbo. That wouldnt show any codes.

Would it be better to get on the vag com 2moro becuase the recovery van only had a basic diagnostic computer, and didnt really seem to know much!

I am hoping it is only a block in the system or something to do with fuel pump.

the car wants to start but there is no smoke of fumes come from the exaust

Out of interest, if the timing belt had slipped would it put up a fault code?

(Happend to my previous car & I had similar symptoms, I'm new to VAG cars)
