Why?

Are you ashamed that it's an Octavia?

And the lights just look dirty now :(

Have you covered the rear lights in smoke tint film? you should do the fronts as well, that will look moody.

The pre-facelift looks soooo much nicer than the facelift!

That looks really mean. Great job.

Yup.

@ OP, are your headlights the Superskoda/eBay ones with the black inners, or have you tinted them?

???? loads of people debadge, it gives a cleaner look.

Nice looking vrs by the way, always loved my black one. IMO it's one of the few colours that the colour coded grill surround works on.

Looking good. As said much better look than FL.

FL or Pre-FL - each to their own. I've owned both and personally I prefer the FL but I do miss my black Pre-FL with it's colour coded grill surround.

I just don't get this whole tinted / dark lights thing. It's dumb to reduce the amount of light output and smacks of form over function but hey, each to their own - if you like it then who am I to argue! :giggle:

As for de-badging - personally I don't see an issue having done it in the past on other motors however I think removing say the Skoda badge would be a step too far - I have yet to see a fully de-badged production car (as opposed to a customised Dub or something) that looked anything other than chavvy - it's just a step too far - a bit like smoothed hatches :-) Now't wrong with removing the VRS or Octavia badges though

I would however have to remove the mirror covers with extreme prejudice and as for that snowplough on the FL ............ARGH!

If the OP's lights are the ones I think they are then they are not tinted but have black inners instead of chrome. With these light output will be identical to OE, they just look 167% better........imo of course! :p

Agree with the snow plough, nasty, It's not a vRS bumper either! I think you have the front end look spot on with the subtle front splitter.

+1 for the mirror covers, bit strange to code the grill and fit non chrome lights then do that to the mirrors???

Yeah I think you're right - looks like Superskoda strikes again (shudders) :giggle:

Same as Brimma's, they look fantastic but only on a black car imo, wouldn't get them from SS though, 209.99€ + a mortgage for postage :giggle:

I just missed out on a set for £130 on eBay. :'(

Strange........some of us actually have dark lights that produce a more intense light that your OEM ones

As requested, Mr Page, pics of front lights, which are black inners, not tinted

You are a gentleman Mr B, I was going to get them from the bay at the price I mentioned the other day and they have gone back up to £144

Still cheaper than SS though........
