440 ft/bs jesus!

Featured Replies

Just went to have my suspension raised at Awesome today, and the famous guy (Warrington way) had his yellow fabia on the rollers. You know the one from Redline mag.

It made a whooooping 440 ft/lbs. Saw the graph, and it sounded a beast. Good job he has an LSD fitted.

Must be mental, can see that being quite a handfull.

Engine - Garrett VT2 Turbo, Forge FMIC, Full 2.5 inch de-cat miltek, EGR bypass, Custom remap.

Transmission - Short shifter, Sachs organic clutch, Quaife LSD

Its sounded nice too.

isn't a VT2 basically a stage 2 hybrid PD150 turbo?

Yeah I think so.

I had a good nosey at it not so long back on the M62.. we both got off at the same junction and as soon as he got bored behind me he overtook and shot off - did sound good and went well!

I bet I would be faster. I may have less torque but mine doesn't peak low down where it just shreds tyres and eats clutches. ;) Peak torque at 3,500 revs FTW! :D Means much more "under the curve" which is what counts. ;)

yup  and 440lb/ft from a stage 2 hybrid and a map? unless the spec has been massively simplified I don't see it myself. 440Nm on the other hand

He had 405ft/lbs in redline.

I got that redline mag/feature. According to it, then engine can take no more than 220bhp before uprated internals are needed

Matt

yeah i bet i'll be faster too

its only a baby hybrid :p

my old fabia vrs was the spit of it and had identical spec but with the addition of brembo's, bmc cda and kw coilies...

i contacted redline but got no reply hmmmm
