Hi all - Ideas on VRS 2nd Hand Prices

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Fabia TDI Estate at the moment. I'm thinking about selling my wife's 106 and having a VRS along side the estate.

Any suggestions on what I would be paying for a second hand one or of any particular deals.

Thanks for your help.

Roger

Welcome to the site :)

If you're talking about a fabia vRS, they're still fairly expensive...

Cheers guys, I'll save my pennies a bit.

If you're after a good deal, your best bet is probably to get an ex-demo vehicle, they are probably the lowest cost Furby vRS you'll get :)

Hello and Welcome:D

I'm in the same boat. The odd one does pop up at 10k, but quite rarely. The majority are sitting at 11k and above.

Cash doesn't always work...

Dealers make money from the finance company so if you take finance via the dealer you may get a better deal overall.

I went for new as the second hand ones where barely a grand cheaper.

Not the best rated dealer but Queensbough Skoda (Scotland), had to fly up (

Nice - I've been looking at them all over the place. Travelling doesn't put me off.

Problem I'm facing is I'm not getting anywhere selling my car, so p/x is looming and I know I won't get as good a deal.

Steve

I had a car to part exchange (still have it infact)! Dealers generally don't like part exchanges (espcially older models) unless they are making a tidy profit! :finger:

Best to try and sell your car privately, I know it leaves you without a car, but if you can make do without one for 2-3 weeks, it will give you much much more bargining power!

Good luck

Yep - been trying that since November

Oh well, maybe one day :D
