What about white wheels on a vRS then?

Featured Replies

All this talk about black or anthracite wheels on candy white vRS FL made me think about white wheels.

Anyone seen one with white wheels? Or do we think it would look cr@p?!

Definitely considering getting my neptunes done. Just fancied being different.

Might be a little too hairdresser though... Hmmm

I think white wheels can only look decent on blue cars TBH

On small hatchback. Yes

Not on an Octavia IMO

B@st@rd to keep clean, I should imagine

Now..........a short back and sides please

I was thinking the same as you.

then checked out this thread

You are doing it right! The big Skoda Octavia II picture tread!

there is a white octy on there with white wheels

must admit it put me off

so have gone for white / polished audi wheels which look better - in my opinion

each to their own as i always say !!

I think it would look rubbish.

Please do it so we can all have a giggle.

Sack it then.

It would only work in conjunction with a full WRC livery......................

Seriously, if you want to change them, go with grey/anthracite/black.

Or you could get diamond cut/polished face with black background, like on MK6 Golf GTI? Just a thought....

anthracite would look muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better.

they are not too bad to keep clean. Had white TT's on my fabia for a year and they looked ok.

might if I have time refurb the 16" for the octavia in white as they are just for winter use.......depends if I can be bother with the effort :p

I've seen a white combi FL on the interweb with white Pro2's and it looked ok

I actually like the idea. I'm one a small handful though. Don't like black on white at all. It's just so 2008! :giggle:

I agree. The black wheels on a white motor are popular in the North. Plenty of S3 and X6's have em. Drug dealers choice!

Still look good though.

Silver or yellow car? no. White, blue or black car? Maybe. On a red car? Yes

Not sure how Zeniths would look white, I think Neptunes would look better in white.

not for me thankyou

i have gone for black gloss.

and i havent dealt drugs for many years now !!!!

Nope. And I mean NO! Modern day Astra GTE look. 'Nuff said.

My little yellow ice cream tub getting sideways, flat out through Camp Corner at Castle Coombe 10 years ago..........

  1. The wheels MUST be pukka "motorsport" ones - Sparco, Compomotive MO etc
  2. Car must be Yellow or Blue

The wheels on the Cinq were MO's - strong but pretty light however they were a complete and utter nightmare to keep clean.

Would I put white wheels on a Skud - not on your life, even on a yellow one!

White does seem to look better on rally style alloys IMO

You could always go for RS+ Green  Bet not many would go that way :giggle:
