Johann has a car!

Featured Replies

Johann, your car looks stunning and the glass roof was sooooooo worth the wait, it completely opens the interior up! Really like the colour too although I see a dark red has now come on the metallic options list so that'll be my choice then

Great pics Johann

Amazing, we share an aquaintance (Frank Bullit) it was Frank (Chris) who persuaded the pair of us to go down the fortwo route when my wife finally plucked up courage to drive. Top bloke, knows his cars

The smart is still a sore subject - never should have sold it but at least we bought another A2!

The Yeti will have to wait as we will be largely brassic for a couple of years but then we'll be in the market for a Yeti; not sure if it will be used or new, just depends upon how much money we (don't) have! Still, pretty sure it will be a standard 2.0TDI 110 2wd SE or an S with a few accessories fitted (leather wheel, cruise and rear speakers)

Thanks Chris. And what a small world that you also know fluffy(DOW). With my black leather and black dash I certainly need the glass to lighten up the car. It is amazing how much there is when you look behind you to reverse. SOOO much more car back there than with the A2. It is the perfect car I have to say. You three will love it for sure.

Now one more comment on my car. The Park Assist. WOW! I was amazed at how well it worked and how easy it was to do it. Especially with a DSG. Trick is to wait for the car to finish steering before you move off. Just like if you were driving it. When we came home last night there was this spot between the MX-5 and the Citroën (see below) that I would not have attempted in a new car. My A2 would have just fitted (the A2 is only 3,8m in length) but in a new bigger car like the Yeti? Nope. The Park Assist did it in three moves! Back, forward, back, forward, done. AMAZING! And during all that my hands were on my legs. emoticon-0140-rofl.gifemoticon-0140-rofl.gif

When I first bought my e39 Touring - now that is a long car looking back through it! (Polo I can almost reach the back window from the drivers seatemoticon-0140-rofl.gif)

I am really looking forward to Park Assist.
