Smoothing/Colour Coding

Featured Replies

What do you think looks too good and what do you think is too much?

My car is going in on the 6th December and I dunno where to stop. So far I've decided on colour coded grill surround, colour coded handles, colour coded door moulding... Possibly a semi-smooth boot (rear Skoda badge removed) but undecided on that one.

I think colour coding the actual grill, splitter or fog surround thingies would look a bit strange so I'm gunna leave that as it is. Same with the mirror plate things. Anyone else got any ideas on stuff to do whilst it's in there?

Leave the Skoda badge on, looks terrible without!

Reckon door mouldings and door handles would look nice

I'll post a picture of my rear (oo err) when I can. It's completely debadged at the moment. I'm putting the (Octavia) vRS badge on when I get around to it, as I have the Octavia vRS badge up front with a Milotec grille.

I'm undecided whether I prefer it completely debadged at the back or not. It does make it easier to keep clean... and I am not a big fan of the look with the Skoda badge or FABIA chrome slapped on the back... so I think just the vRS badge will be me happy :)

the moulding and handles never really bothered me, my car being a black too doesnt really notice too much, theres a black fab in the best fabia post with the front bumper smoothed by the recess looks really nice but then where do you put the plate after without ruining it lol, im gonna get my boot done too, just running the skoda badge at the min, does look good seen it on another black fab. And the colour coded grill is a must looks so much better

the handles/mouldings/grille should be enough without going ott imo emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Sorry it took so long. Have been ill and not at home.
