Featured Replies

Well on way to work this morning slid in to the kerb and ruined my 3month old tt 18s gutted.

Don't blame the snow! Blame yourself!

Sorry to hear about the wheels though. Get some 16" steels and some snow tyres maybe....

As I said to my wife this morning, skidding in the snow is avoidable, if you skid you were driving too fast.

I see it every morning, the road from our estate to the main road, people driving at 15+MPH even though it's like sheet ice, they get to the left bend and then end up spinning or in the kerb..... I might be too cautious but 3mph is about right for the conditions.

Anyway, your wheel can be replaced, my mate did the same to his Imprezza at the weekend (due to arrogance about how good his 4 wheel drive system is) and you should see the dash, lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights....

No its snows fault honest.

I think it going to be that option. Ram the weitecs up and steels with mud and snow tyres. Looks ugly but will save money if i slide into a kerb again at 3mph because the council are under prepared for snow in west Cumbria.

Just caught me of guard going down a slight hill with a 90° right turn. Oh well that's more money to spend after just buy new engine mounts from awesome. Should of bought steels instead. Now where's that ebay app on me phone.
