What front windscreen wiper brands would you lot recommend?

I currently have Bosch super plus on my fabia and looking to replace as they've got a bit judderery.

I've heard good things about retro fitting flat blade wipers from a review in auto express but they cost three or four times more than a standard wiper. opinions?

You say - they've got a bit judderery - have you got the wind deflectors fitted, mine also juddered until I fitted them, now no problem.

I have the aero wipers on mine (flat ones) , they are well worth the money

Try reversing the rubbers (if possible) - I did this on my rear wiper and it was fine afterwards.

I got some from a skoda dealership for £5 the cheeky **** wanted £3 to fit them!

+1  for the bosch retro fit aero wipers

They also look better on the car from a styling perspective too.

I usually get mine from HERE

Here's a 10% off discount code found using google.

Don't know if it still works?? G4WC7

I've got the Bosch flat blades. Available from euro car parts and seriously worth the cash. About 22£ I think. But I was shocked at the noticable difference

I recently fitted some Bosch aero blades to my car and compared to normal wipers there pretty good but they miss about 1 cm off the edge compared to the old ones !

After just killing another kitten :dull: .

Bosch Aerotwin retrofit blades are amongst the best and are presently on offer at Wiperblades.co.uk:

Worked out at just under £20 and next day delivery for me despite the snow. Pretty happy with them although they get noisy and need replacing after about 2.5 years. Literally take 10 seconds to fit. Agree they look better too.

thanks all for the recommendations, i've gone with the Bosch Aero blades

I've got the Bosch aero ones, but I was wondering, Can the blades be removed and replaced or reversed?

+1 for th Bosch Aeros, used in some seriosly bad conditions and they've performed flawlessly

I've got some standard Halfords ones on at the minute but they judder now and again and the downwards wipe is never clean - ordered some Bosch Aerotwin retrofits this afternoon :)

Sorry to hi-jack, are there any retro-fit rear wiper blades or are they a dealer only item?

Just ordered myself some of the Bosch aero blades, hopefully they'll be as good as the last set I had.

There's these from the Polo, but doubt you'll get anything else really.

Yep the rear wiper blade is main dealer only or from an online VAG parts specialist like Jorily. As above, I think the Polo rear blades might be more readily available, but you'd need to change the arm for a Polo one first. A bit of a pain!
