Only done 25miles in it so far, but love it already, much better than the Roomster it replaced and more mpg aswell!!

only the one pic at the mo.

Looks well. Enjoy.

Nice one. Looks good in the red..........not seen many hatches in that colour.

blimey bet you were lucky finding that, sports alone are rare let alone red with dsg, nice

Good stuff, and a nice find with that combo of kit

As said, Sports are rare enough - don't think I've ever seen one with DSG as well! And not many round in red either - so top score all round B)

How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

Steve

Thanks for the Nice comments

Yes Sports are rare, think there was only one other on Skoda used cars and that was Petrol and a basic spec.

This one was at my Local Dealers

So a very good deal was done B)

Get those rubbing strips colour coded

Nice looking car. What's different on a sport?

Bigger wheels? Sports suspension? Different bumpers? Boot spoiler?

Very nice, looks well....

That's about it

Also it's the 140bhp so no DPF

Also noticed last night it has a Dimming rear view mirror.

Have done my 1st mod aswell, I have done the "Off" Button mod B)

Me too, I turn off my climate control each time before turning off the engine so this mod is great for me, so satisfying :giggle:

Why do you turn the CC off as a matter of interest?

dill

Force of habit, I've always been keen to preserve my battery, especially as the temperatures drop and the load on the battery becomes more constant.

Not as neccessary on modern cars, especially as the fans on the climate control don't always start up straight away, but good practice never the less.

I always smile when I see people open their car, coming/leaving home lights on, jump in their car, ignition on, lights on, wipers on, radio on, blowers on, rear heated screen on - then start the engine.

This process is then reversed at home.

I've never been stranded due to a flat battery but been close.

It is very possible for a battery to last the life of the car.

My other car, a 10 year old, 130,000 mile Peugeot 306 is still on its original battery and still going strong even in -15.

Welcome to the "Sport" club.emoticon-0136-giggle.gif Yours looks nice in red. when I was buying mine I only saw two mine and one in silver.

Hello to another Sport owner

I don't think there are many of us on here, i know of one other member who had a petrol Sport, but don't think he has been on for a while.

Also noticed last night i have Curtain Airbags as well. ( no i didn't crash :D )

Good when you find some free extras :D

Both curtain bags and the dimming mirror were extras on the Sport. They're Ambiente spec, with Sports suspension, 17" Pegasus wheels, Sport bumpers and the bootlid spoiler added.

Did they spec puddle lighting for the door mirrors too? You might have one with every extra bar a sunroof at this rate! Parking sensors?

Steve

Perfect colour but maybe I'm biased :giggle:

Just wait until you see how easy it is to find on the car park amidst the ubiquitous dull greys, silvers, blacks and whites

You were robbed ;)

Very nice car Mike

Have to agree with a comment above though, the black rubbing strips do look out of place..........and have you found a place for the 'nearly a vRS' badge? :giggle:

And why would anyone take something special and turn it into something run-of-the-mill? :giggle:

If you want to see what Corrida Red looks like with colour coded rubbing strips here's mine:

It's an FL Elegance but will give you an idea of what it looks like.

Looks very nice,

Was it a long job to do, or can you take the rubbing strips off to paint?
