Turbo Technics. Old skool company and one of the first companies to do recon turbos etc.

I have a hybrid on my Octavia and it is immense.

Turbo Dynamics :)

cr turbos will hybrid your turbo for you, dont think turbo dynamics do an exchange any more

This is correct, i phoned turbo dynamics about 2 weeks ago to hybrid a 150 turbo iv bought and they only supply an already hybridised turbo, instead of you sending your old one in for hybriding.

Iv had prices from CR turbos of around £550-£600 and Turbo Technics of around £500+Vat so there isnt really a lot of difference. If any one has information on really up to date pricing or what they have found out from the companies about different stages of hybriding then i think that would help out alot of people.

I would go TT over CR personally.

I got a hybrid PD150 from Allard, the VT2. Very good indded, a shade under £1K delivered. Excellent service too.

yer iv head a few things about CR recently on other forums that would make me sway towards TT i think. Thats not a dig at CR turbos in anyway at all though

Ive had a CR Hybrid on mine and the car isnt mapped for it yet, but so far its working well, nice little increase at the top end revs...
