Fog Lights

Featured Replies

Why do my FRONT foglights come on when I select reverse gear?

They'll be your cornering lights, which are built into the fog light housing and come on to illuminate the front corners whilst your reversing. OK, so if you're going backwards in a straight line, then they don't exactly help, but if you are reversing into a space, then having the front corners illuminated could be the difference between clipping another vehicle or reversing without incident :)

Thats it, the Fogs are also the corner assist lights, and one will come on in the direction you turn the wheel or the indicator, but only stationary or under 40 kph (25 mph)

Thanks for the replies, it just seems to be a strange thing to happen.

Yes, perhaps a little strange... but also another small feature that makes Skoda stand out from the crowd :)

Simply Clever
