Seems a bit too good to be true at that price.

The prices are similar to that on the actual magnex site, if anyone was thinking of purchasing (which i think i may do) i think i would go direct to the online shop instead of ebay.

Cats' are required on petrol for emissions. Diesel cars are tested on smoke, so a cat' isn't needed.

Legally it has to say that - they can't be seen to condone removing the cat on a road car.

And it's likely to fail an MOT in 2012. And if it's illegal you can't get insurance on it. So it has to be an undeclared modification. It's catch22 but basically, it's like the ad says - not for road use.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of fitting one of these?

Pro: Slightly more noise

Con: Possible issues causing turbo problems if not mapped for it, Soon might be illegal (not yet tho) and erm . . . . serious lack of pros?

so basically it makes more noise and fhooks your turbo quicker... think I'll stick with the standard exhaust system then.
