Deadlocks

Featured Replies

Stupid question, no doubt :o but how do you set the deadlocks on a vRS Octy? Press close button once to lock, then do you have to wait a period before pressing close again to deadlock? :)

I thought it was the other way round. One click for locked and deadlocked (flashing LED on drivers door), 2 for just locked

Dealer told me it was once for locked, twice for deadlocked.

So you're probably right... :D

Rob.

Anyone know if this is the same for the Fabia? I always assumed that one press of close armed the alarm and set the deadlocks, which would make more sense to me than having to press it twice :D

Chris

Jane is right.

On the Octavia, once for deadlocked, twice for just locked.

Basically if your Red LED is flashing its Deadlocked as mentioned above... once = deadlocked twice within 5secs is not deadlocked

shame the deadlocks dont stop theives getting into your car thru the stupid comfort switch, couldnt believe they could open all the windows so easily.

shame the deadlocks dont .

Widely known, but still probably not wise to publicise it ;)
