I intend to get it 'looked over' by Jabbasport, and having declined the alarm fitting service of the dealership, have an after market unit fitted. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I was thinking of get a 'Clifford' system installed.

I'll happily second Denis and he recommendation for Jabba, and also suggest you stop thinking of a Clifford system and buy one, but make sure you get a decent installer

I have a concept 500 (now superseded) on my RS, fitted by a local installer oop north and it's been faultless.

I had a Concept 300 on my previous car, and an Eagle 2 on a Cav GSi several years ago, and would not use any other make of alarm now.

i'll 3rd Denis and the Jabbasport route for your Octy.

Alarm side no idea,haven't bothered with mine i have to admit,am probably gonna get one soon but i might just go down the GPS tracking route.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and advice - I appreciate it. I think Jabbasport, and a Clifford alarm is the way forward then. If anybody knows a decent installer not a million miles away from the Merseyside area, I would be grateful if they could let me know. Thanks again.
