As the title suggests really, is there a way of opening the Mk1 Fabia bonnet from the outside of the car? Does the release cable run through the wheelarch or can you get to it through there?

Welcome back. Why do I get the feeling that you have broken something again

Ha ha! Not broken anything, the car is deadlocked with a flat battery in a very tight garage... rather than having to jack it upand go in from the underside (ooohhhh err) i thought i'd see if there was an easy way to get the bonnet open...

Why not open the drivers door with the key then just pull the bonnet release lever?? If you can't get into the car how did the person who left it there get out??
