Featured Replies

Happy and safe travels to All in 2012, kindest regards, Jonathan

With minutes to spare to make a 1/1/11 post: happy new year to everyone and I look forward to meeting a lot of you on either a Yeti adventure or a Yeti Adventure this year!

Think the date is slightly wrong there Johann emoticon-0105-wink.gif

EDIT: Just noticed the date on your post, so yes you're right, sorry emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Have a great 2012 all.

Have a good New Year all... :hi:

Hi Folks

I normally just read the posts on this website looking for information and ideas. However, I must admit that I'm now a complete SKODA CONVERT and think that the Skoada Yeti is the best vehicle I've ever owned. Some 30 years ago a work mate of mine turned up with a brand new Skoda Estelle and we all laughed at him. He had the last laugh as he still owned it up to a few years ago. I've always been a Honda fan, having owned 4 in the past 12 years but this new Skoda Yeti is something else. I have a 2.0 litre Diesel 110bhp SE 4x4 and was slightly worried that it might have been a tad underpowered. Not so! It's a great car and even my wife enjoys driving it. My neighbours and even complete strangers have approached me and asked if it was a good car. After I open the door and let them look inside, you can see their jaws dropping. My two sons had severe reservations about buying a Skoda but they grab the keys from me as soon asd I get home. If this car is sought after by a 25 and 19 year old, Skoda must be doing something right.

Hope you all have a good new year and don't have to wait too long for the SKODA YETI.

Cheers

Happy New Year everyone.

Have a good one.

Gellukig Nieuw Jaar from the foot of the Dutch Alps. Everybody's gone firework crazy for the last 30 minutes. A large glass of Talisker to hand for the Bells at midnight, Scottish Time.

Hopefully should have my real Christmas present i8n just over a week.

Happy New Year everyone, may 2012 bring you oodles of happiness and contentment in the company of your snow monsters!

And special thanks to all of you who have added so much incredibly useful information to the Yeti forum. Your contributions and exchanges of information have been invaluable to us all as we have got to know our cars. If only everything in life was a as much fun as a Yeti!!!

Happy new year to all Briskodians. I can't believe a year has passed since this topic was first posted!!!! It has been a privilege to drive a Yeti around for the past year. One of the best in my motoring career. Here's to Skoda for producing such an amazing car. :hic: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hopefully I'll get mine THIS year!

New Year's resolution - do not contaminate spitzberg alloys with the bits of kamikaze Welsh Farm Collies - may they enjoy another year of chasing cars with abandon. (except mine).

Still having issues with dogs George :giggle:

Oh yes what did happen to 2011; didn't last long despite putting 10,000miles on the Monster :S Here's to a more leisurely paced 2012

A happy and prosperous new year to all,

TP

A guid New Year to ain & aw..........now if I could only find some snow for the Yeti (And the Husky) to play in.

THINKS: Just as well that I didn't buy that snowblower.

I've had a very happy last year and a half (22,000 miles) with a vehicle I've really come to love!

I don't know if I've helped the sales figures but, like Armayeti, have proudly shown the Yeti to loads of curious strangers......

So, best wishes for the new year to all Yeti owners and patient, hopeful will-be owners!

All the best to everyone for 2012.

Cheers  (Hair of the dog)

Hi Everybody

Happy New Year again which has come with a new username for me by accident!!!!

I was trying to change back to my previous display following my tribute to the late Sir Jimmy and managed to change my display name twice by accident and I cannot change back for 180 days so I am now using my proper Christian name.

Cheers
