First go at HDR - Marble Hotel Staircase

Featured Replies

Hi,

I saw an HDR photo in the landscape thread so thought I'd download a trial and give it a go. I just so happened to have a few photos trial of a staircase in a hotel we stayed in over Christmas in London as I was trying to get the exposure right for a family photo. It was set up on a tripod and the photos were at various exposure stops so I thought I'd give it a go.

I think the finished photo looks pretty mad! Quite pleased with it considering the originals aren't very good.

C&C very welcome...

Thanks, it was a lovely hotel, some strange people there though. Especially one moody foreign person who kicked up a fuss and was very huffy when we asked her to move out of a family photo :dull:

There's always one!!!!! Taking bloomin' family pictures while your trying to have a quiet sit down.

Nice pics by the way.... Prefer the first one myself.

Cheers

Dave.

I'd be too worried about banging my head on the huge photomatix signs :o

Moody foreign people are often the Hotel owners. :)

Well we paid enough to stay there! I'll photograph what I want! She definately wasn't a hotel owner. She also huffed when I asked for my suit bag I left draped over a chair, which she was then standing on! :o
