Hi im new to this site but would like some advice on a problem i have with my octavia.

The car has developed a problem in that the seat belt warning light and buzzer will keep coming on while im driving, the passenger side has been dissabled by the dealer when i purchased the car , the problem is with the drivers side. even with the belt fastened the light etc keeps flashing on and off, when i move the buckle to stops but only for a few minutes then it starts again. i drive in excess of 800 milea a week as a taxi and its really getting annoying. help please !!!

sorry should say its Dave and im thinking of ordering a new superb for March 11, any thoughts on the petrol 1.4 against the 1.6 Diesel.

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car.
