Got mine finally!

Featured Replies

Picked up the new Superb this morning as arranged.

Faultless on delivery, everything working as it should and it even had a decent quantity of fuel in it!

First impressions: very smooth drive, quiet and relaxed. Comfortable ride and excellent traction on icy roads (even with summer tyres)

Phone synced straight away and voice control works fine.

The upgraded sound system, although still without much bass range, definately sounds better than in my last Superb (that may have had one or more faulty speakers - never did find out). Read my music collection from a 16gb sdhc card straight away.

A few little additions I like since last time: oil temperature display in the MFD, well worth having to know the engine is warm enough before putting your foot down; digital clock display on the Columbus when switched off; gear recommendation in the MFD; adjustable parking sensor volume and frequency.

Like the aqua blue with ivory leather and dark rear tints. Wasn't sure until I actually saw it but pleased with the choice. Distinctly unimpressed with the quality of carpets fitted though. They would look cheap in a basic fabia never mind a top of the range Superb.

Does anyone know how to turn off the annoying bleeps in when using the remote central locking? I can't find that in the manual.

If anyone's interested I will post some pictures, just ask.

Mark.

Pics please!

Always like to see new cars

Im asking then ... photo's please

You can turn the alarm beeps off in the MFD, can't remember where I saw it but it was pretty obvious when you find it.

Photos as requested (sorry about the quality - mobile phone - they don't do the car justice)

Still can't over ride alarm beeps via MFD - wondering if mine doesn't allow this. Really annoying noise!

MFD the one you need is ATA confirm. Untick the box to switch off warning tone.

Ah I see. Saw that but didn't know what it was for. Thanks, I'll try it when I go out next.
