On T-Mobile? You may want to read this!

Yep same info given on the BBC news site. So it's just the same as o2 did with their data limits in that it's only for new customers or upgrading customers taking out new contracts.

I still have people telling me i don't have unlimited data on my iPhone on o2 untill i show them the data limits section on the my o2 app and it shows i have unlimited data. :giggle:

Cheers

Dave.

My contract is up next month so it looks like i'll be loosing out - might have to change networks as i regularly tether it to my macbook for the internet.

As long as you dont go elsewhere, and keep your existing handset then the contract terms remain in place and you can carryon as you are, its only if you upgrade where you commit to a new contract will the change affect you.

I want a new phone though :p

Buy the new phone sim free and put the existing sim on your existing contract into the new phone then sell the old phone to recoup some of the cost.

That's what i'm thinking of doing in the summer when i go for the iPhone 4GS or 5 etc.... As i'm on the existing unlimited data contract with o2 there's not much difference in just paying £180 or so to upgrade the normal way but lose my unlimted data or buy the new phone sim free for £400-odd and sell my 3GS for £100-200 quid etc.... and keep my unlimited data contract.

Does that make sense??? ;)

Cheers
