I have just joined this forum and would like to place a question in the "Ask A Tech" section.

However I am unable to do so, because at the end of the page it says "You cannot start a new topic".

What must I do to post a question in that section?

Any help would be useful.

I think 'Ask A Tech' is only open to Freedom (paid) members, although posting your query in the Fabia 1 will probably yield an answer.

But before you do, you might want to do a search first to see if your question's been asked before.

Thank you for this, but I have had a look at both the Fabia and the Yeti sections, and I cannot post anything in either sections, for the same reason as above.

My question is related to a Yeti car, because I have just ordered one, and the information I require I cannot find, nor can I obtain it from the sales person I have ordered the car.

The question is reasonable and linked to the configuration of electronic devices.

Since the car I ordered is currently being built, the soonest I find the information that I require, the quicker I can contact the garage and ask them to have a modification made / rectified.

Is it possible that the reason why I cannot post is linked to a setting, or a tick box that I may have ommited during my registration?

Again, hany help would be most appreciated.

Try posting it in the Yeti section then chap, it may give you the result you are looking for. It's a very active section of Briskoda, full of lunatics mind but very active.

It appears that the problem is persisting!

Since I have prepared my query in advance, would it be possible for me to send it by email to a moderator or a webmaster that could indirectly publish it for me in the correct forum section?

This would be most useful, and would help me get started, with finding answers to my queries.

If it's to do with a Yeti, I don't understand why you won't post it in the Yeti section? Is this the only section you can post in?

Please accept my apology as I have found out how to place a post on this website.

I think that as a general comment, this site is not very evident as to where (hence under what hierarchical level one can start posting), unlike most forums that allow individuals to start posting at the top level of each section or topic. Here one has to search deeper in the lower levels before being able to post. Anyway, this is lesson one learnt.

Also, I apologise to have added "vrsadz" as a friend, as I did not mean to that; I clicked on the Icon, thinking that this would bring a profile up on the user, again due to lack of familiarity with the web site.
