Have a read of the first post. If you are just coming to watch/spectate, you just pay £10 on the gate, ensuring you come into the circuit by the Camp Corner entrance, NOT the pit entrance. If you join the freedom scheme for £12 in the next 3 weeks or so, you stand a good chance of getting a free ticket to get it. :)

Combe is easy to find and is "brown signed" from both j17 or j18.

j17 will take you to chippenham and then over to Combe and you will have to drive past the quarry entrance, the pit entrance and round Camp corner entrance.

j18 takes you a more rural route but delivers you right to the entrance you need.

The Briskoda "stand" is, due to it's huge size and popularity :), actually too big for the padddock area and is a section of one of the grass car park areas.

With regards to being "on show" the answer is yes kind of.

As said above the stand is an area of public car park so spectators are free to come and wander about and admire the mass gathering of Czecholovakia's finest :thumbup:

Daft question, but here goes anyway...

Those of us doing a bit of track time at 2pm, will we be parked up on/near the clubstand area and then pop off for a bit of track action together?

Or do we just park in the car park like all the other day visitors and make our own way to the track at 2pm?

The Briskoda "stand" is so large we essentially get a large area of one of the public car parks anyways!

All cars need to be sound tested before hitting the track (to make sure the diesel clatter isn't too loud!) and this can be done at any stage during the day.

At previous events there tends to be a mass Skoda movement from the stand to the paddock around half an hour before the session which normally allows enough time for all to get tested then loiter for a few minutes in the paddock before getting in the queue for the track :thumbup:

I recommend everyone who's not been before - have a good root around on the castle combe website and familiarise yourself with the field which is down to the left of camp corner (its not public parking there though) and also the camp corner entrance off the tight bend on the road passing the circuit, not the entrance on the straight section of road.

Aside from that, it's a doddle.

PS: Keen to get unpaid items in now. Hopefully everyone has received their wages today?! ;)

it is best to get Noise Tested as soon as you arrive at Coombe, then park up and then get the driver briefing done. Saves dashing about later.

Begging for some misquoting! :D There is plenty of room for all cars. We usually arrange ourselves roughly 2 rows deep, and 18+ cars across. There is so much room though it is easy to just park up and leave the car all day. :)

Anyone else want to join us on track or on stand. I will leave it another week or so, then will be forced to fill those last spaces from other forums, and likely non Skoda cars. Lets try and keep it all BRISKODA eh? :thumbup::thumbup:

BUMP! Come on guys. People were moaning about Briskoda not doing car shows and when one is arranged, not that many are taking up on the offer! :wonder:
