All day (approx 4.30-5.00), and as clean as possible after a 60+ mile journey

As above but only 45 miles for me

Depends on how hot it gets and how baked the polish gets on the car!

Nick got a bit carried away with the cleaning last year, he cleaned his car on-site too, despite having only driven from Sheffield! Needless to say, I waved a sponge at mine the week before ;-)

I've just topped up my tan walking home from the station!

its rained for about 5 mins here then all clear, good job i didnt wash the car leave that for tomorrow . hopefully there will be no rain monday

Actually I spoke too soon,

I've given the modern car a quick rinse off to get rid of a week's sand!

The most bizarre thing was the number of dead insects stuck to the roof,

it hadn't been driven since it was last washed,

so do I presume that these insects have died because they've landed on the hot roof!

Anyway, I walked to the shops and that thunderstorm met me on my way home!
