mud flaps

Featured Replies

hi guys does mud flaps of a fabia a fit the roomster

Yes, but not all of them, you have to get the right ones, for the front , the Fabia one fits, part #KEA700001, for the rear, these are unique to the Roomster, part #KEA770002 or for 2010 models KEA770003

Have a look here for details of accessories available http://www.accessories.skoda.co.uk/

These are part KEA400003B, i.e. the old model Fabia 6Y, not the 5J which is the Roomster, so be careful if buying these, as they probably won't fit

apologies, i was looking at the picture, picture looked very similar to the picture on the packaging of the 5J flaps.it's even in the same colour (burgendy)

I've noticed that the rear of the car gets badly splattered from the rear tyres, has anyone noticed much difference after fitting mud flaps? Are they particularly tricky to fix? On my old Zafira I had to remove the wheels first which was a pain.

Takes about ten minutes a side to fit the factory mudflaps. One torx bit required (can't remember the size off the top of my head, but mid sized)

Remove the torx bolts holding the wheelarch liner, offer up the mudflap and replace with original bolts. There's just enough access to mean you don't need to remove the wheels.

Haven't actually noticed that the cars get particularly dirty from wheel-splash but I suppose the flaps must help a bit. Back door and window on the other hand get very dirty, very quickly. But that is always going to be the case with flat backed vehicles of course and is pretty much unavoidable. Good excuse to give it a wash though.

If you have a allen key for the rear mudflaps then you will be able to tighten the mud flaps, I too was about to take the wheel off my Fabia Estate when the wife suggested using a allen key.

Cheers for that, time to order some flaps.
