I have just purchased a set of used Thule roof bars with 755 feet but with no instructions...

I want to physically remove the feet from the square bars to install aero bars but can not seem to get them to move at all!

I have keys etc - the locks are removed and the feet adjust ok with the rotating end cap. But how do I physically detach the feet from the bars - they appear to be fixed?

I have them but I've never removed the feet from the bars since new so I can't remember how to do it I'm afraid.

Look on youtube as I'm sure there is a video on there.

I've got the 757 and aero bars for the wifes Santa Fe and it wasn't straight forward as it could have been

I've got 755's and the instructions are here:

Basically you need to uncrew and remove the tightening knobs on the end of the bars and then remove the endcap from the roof bar by putting the square rod from the tightening knob into a hole at the base of the end cap to release a catch.
