Winter tyres & steel wheels

Featured Replies

Had all winter Conti TS830, and very happy with them. Did a few trips to Austrian/Swiss Alps, and superb traction on snow, ice and general dry roads. Well recommended.

I've been able to get myself another set of winter wheels and tyres with 215/60 tyres. So my 205/55 set is now for sale on eBay. Just do a search there if anyone is interested. Or PM me.

They were as is so not had a choice in tyre if that is what you mean? But they are Kleber Krisalp HP2 (by Michelin) 215/60 R16 99H XL tyres on Å koda steel wheels.

ADAC gave them kinda a middle evaluation last year, except they were considered excellent on dry pavement. Should be just fine for UK conditions.

Will be fine for me until I can choose my own set one day! The Semperits came from the dealer and these I had no choice in either!
