Indeed it is... A mate of mine had an original Mk 1 golf GTi with a CitiGolf interior, and a CitiGolf... with a Mk 1 GTi interior.

He just said he thought it would be fun to swap them over one Sunday. So he did.

We've a couple of dealers of in South Africa, we were chatting about these the other week. Apparantly there's a 'Special Products' division of VW out there and you can order one of these through them with the NDBW 1.8T in it, that'd be a good one to import!

I dunno, ive got my wee Mk1 GTi (she's called Viki btw ) and its an amazing car. for handling, performance and the sheer driver experienc im afraid to say it beats my furby, but on the other hand, creature comforts like air con and heaters that work are a bonus

there is one, although not brand new as such, has been built from top to bottom with brand new parts. only shell was existing, all new doors the works(zinc dipped etc)
