Crazy wipers

Featured Replies

My wiper went mad & still are. They stay on constant sweep and don't turn off unless you push the stalk back to activate the rear. So i got a new stalk and fitted it and they worked, so i plugged the rear wiper back in and hey ho off they go again same fault. The question is, is it the rear wiper or the relay for the wipers that's causing this.

I believe it is water ingress into the rear wiper motor unit....

Cheers bud. That's an easy one to do and cheap if I can fix it with a bit of cleaning & drying. Bet need a new unit thought lol

No harm in cleaning it and hoping for the best, or just drop out the wiper/motor and go without.... Seems to be a half common mod around here.
