Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody knows how to set the hatch to default to open in "hatch" mode as opposed to "boot" mode.

As the signal to the motors that lock into the hatch seem to be driven electronically, I have to guess it is computer controlled somewhere.

Does any body know of a setting somewhere that can change this,

I'm not sure it can... I've certainly never heard it mentioned anywhere before. Would certainly be a good idea though.

Didn't think it was possible to set the tailgate to hatch as default.

Personally I find that I use the "bootlid" virtually all the time unless I have the odd occasion to need to carry a larger box etc... Also in this weather to reach to the back of the luggage compartment guarantees dirty trousers from touching the bumper.

For the odd occasion when hatch needed agree this would be useful, but dont think I would set it as default
