A dreadful sight for me today

Featured Replies

Oh I know where you are coming from... I sold my beloved Audi A2 (which I had owned for 9 years) to get the Yeti I have now. The guy contacted me via the A2OC and was all lovely and nice and was buying it for his wife. I gave him a ton of stuff I could have sold on eBay - a second radio, Thule roof bars... And then someone on the A2OC contacted me asking me if I keep an eye on eBay. I don't. But there was my pride and joy. He fixed the passenger door dent, replaced the kerbed alloys with 16" Audi TT ones, had it chipped - I knew he worked in the trade so he got all this done for very little outlay. It looks amazing now. He also wanted a LOT more for it than he paid me. I was gutted as I really wanted it to go to a good home with someone from the A2OC - which is what he told me too. He wanted to buy a car from someone on the A2OC so he knows the history... But hey ho he has listed it twice now and neither time did it sell. He wants a bit too much me thinks. [Or that electrical problem he knew about when he bought it can't be cured.]
