what about a cup holder than can actually restrain a can when you accelerate/ brake remotely hard......

Nah, far too conservative.

What we really need is a built-in hot/cold drinks dispenser, with a straw attachment attached to the A pillar. Just charge with water and instant coffee powder, cola syrup, or whatever, and slurp away without taking your hands off the wheel... :D

and here was I trying to keep it sensible...

you might as well have the multi slice toaster in the spare din slot!

not if it is built into the dash board!

Built a lovely Kenwood CD player into the dash of a previously owned Transit once.........The gits nicked the dash.

A sunglass compartment... Every time I pull away from the traffic lights they end up on the floor :(

I have one!

Official Skoda option fitted for 25 euros! Goes right between the gearshift and the handbrake. Tap on the top and it opens automatically - perfect!

You can see a small part of it here.

Don't tell me it's not on the Skoda UK option list...

let me guess lhd only?

you got a part number?

Nope, no part no., sorry.

But can't imagine it being only LHD - the dip between the gearshift and the handbrake section is symmetric. It would fit on either side.

The part number has already been posted on Briskoda by bandit1, IIRC. Do a search.

ok boss. sorry boss..wont happen again.

;)

Puts on helpful hat. Graham posted the answer here.

Paul, please excuse my grumpy moderator colleague, he's a bit miffed at being demoted to poster number 2 ;)

:D

Denis, do you happen to know if that part number is actually available from UK dealers?

The part number is - its on the UK ETKA. Don't know about the part, though. Glad to be of help as always. :D

Yeah, that's the one - except mine's in serious grey instead of silly beige.

My best low-cost "mod"... :D

Something other than single pot callipers on the front, maybe a nice set of 4 pots like the Cupra R

Recaros as an option or possibly even standard on the RS

Headlight wash and wipe

Bigger washer bottle

My dealer has told me that Skoda will be giving the vRS the 225BHP engine..... Don't know how reliable this is but.....

I would imagine it would also have uprated brakes and 18's etc..

Dazz

Sad I know, but it should have rear courtesy lights. I bought a couple from the Skoda dealer and fitted them myself out of frustration from trying to pick up all the crisps left by the kids on a winter's evening. It's all so black inside you can't see anyhing in the back.

The lights fit great - only problem is they are puky beige.

Also replaced the gear knob with a Momo - very nice.

Richard.

So how does a Momo go then? Does it go where your gear stick was? and what do you feed it to keep it going?

Cheers:rolleyes:
