I will almost certainly be going, but with it being such a long time off, it's almost impossible to give a definite answer until closer to the time.

I am dropping off the application form tomorrow evening

It's local to me, so am delivering by hand, but don't fear as the deadline is 30th of March. Plus they said numbers are irrelavent at this early stage, on the phone.

Once I hear back from them, I shall start a new thread with the intention of gathering solid numbers!

This is really embarrasing, the person I got to take it over there got the wrong address.. Know the old saying, do it yourself, good job etc. I will get it in one night this week however

It won't be the only dirty MK2 VRS there mate...especially after the 2 and a half hour drive down there!

I will try and wash it the day before if I end up going

I can't wait to run the mongrel down the strip either. Hoping for a 13 second pass, but this is always doubtful due to it not being a good surface to launch on. I will just go for tyre shredding starts for the crowd and take whatever time I happen to make.
