rear wash and removing panels

Featured Replies

Further to reading other postings, we believe we have either a split pipe or an undone connector in the rear wash pipe as it dribbles our near the rear passenger door.

Can someone tell me how to remove the panel from the side of the boot area to find/examine the hose ?

Thanks

Ian

You have to undo screws located behind the carrier bag hooks , ie pull out the bag hooks and in the recess you will see cross head screws. Also on the boot load ties , there is a small oblong cap , prise this out and again you will find a cross head screw.

The rest of it is down to carfully prising the trim off very carfully.

Be carfull as there are small silvered spring clips that can shoot out , and get lost easily if you don,t watch it.( don,t do it next to a drain grill)

I had mine off to reconnect the 12volt socket, which had either never been connected or somehow become dissconnected.
