Rust off paint work?

Featured Replies

Basically, my piston siezed in my rear caliper, and the pad disintergrated..........Leaving specks of rust flying all over my wheels and paint work.......

I've tried Autoglym intensive tar remover, but it's far from ideal................Is there any other way to get this crap off?

t-cut? Or maybe a paint cleaner like Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner?

Get some Iron-X, otherwise a clay bar should shift it.

Clay bar! Brilliant idea!

I was always told T cut is like the devil?

I think you may need to try Aquartz Iron X

Car Pro website

It use to be called Iron Cut, if you search You Tube there are videos of it in action

I think you may find there is more damage to the paintwork than expected, I work for Blackpool Transport and our White Transit van gets peppered with that kind of damage from the cast iron brakes off the Trams,The metal shards are hot when they hit the paintwork and burn through,no easy fix I'm afraid.

Autoquartz Iron X ..DONT use a clay bar untill youve removed all the rust particles
