Picked up my VRS this afternoon from Chathams Skoda in Edinburgh

I picked it up around 4.30pm so got caught up in rush hour heading home - therefore I haven't had the chance to explore the performance yet. Very please so far though!

old style plate - OOB 123X for example...

Close jrw, but it doesn't have a letter at the end - just OOB then 3 numbers. The Mrs has OOV then the same 3 numbers as mine on her car. The letters/numbers don't mean anything to me or her, just my ex-fiance + my mum + my sister + my gran all went quarter each on the plate as an xmas present over 11 years ago and i've transfered it every time i've changed cars (which is a pain in the erse).

Looks nice ... will watch out for you round and about West Lothian ... loads of race blue ones but not seen any other mighty whites!

Car is booked into the local car audio place tomorrow to get the MDI unit fitted. I also have a set of rear mudflaps to go on the car - dealer supplied and fitted the front ones for me but only supplied the rear ones, they were unwilling to fit them as they said they won't fit.

Next mods will be the grill colour-coded (in the spring once the roads are a bit clearer!) and the badges removed off the boot. Windows (b-pillar back) will be tinted too at some point and I might go for the honeycomb grill insert from superskoda.

Maybe slightly longer term will be getting the wheels painted or powder-coated a darker colour, and get the car lowered.

Need to get budget approval from the Mrs first!
