Will this fit the octavia vRS?..

Featured Replies

Evening people,

Been toying with the idea of tuning my ocy up since i bought it november. I was just wondering if this would fit? Clicky

I'm not sure, but it looks simular size to a standard manifold but i thought the bora had the engine mounted longways?

Any advise would be great, or any other manifolds out there which offer better flow.

A freind of mine orded a FR-tuning cast one and we compared it to the origional and the size difference was staggering. I'm suprised the turbo spins up with the exit bores on the origional manifold lol

CheeRS :)

Nope, as you said, the A4 has a longditudianl engine mounting, so the manifold is different.

The cheap ebay ones are prone to cracking anyway apparently.

Whilst it looks similar, it's not likely to fit, as A4 has the engine mounted longitudinally.

If you are retaining the standard K03 turbo, your best bet is to get your manifold (or a spare) ported by Bill at Badger5, this will offer usefull flow benefits and guarantee correct fitment and reliability.

"I see exactly same performance from these as I have seen on the "hi-flow" manifolds sold including hybrid k03/4 conversions.

Benefits: guaranteed fitment, OE Reliability (not invincible, but better than the cheap "hi-flows" sold), and Cheaper."
