rear doors leaking

Featured Replies

right noticed the rear door leaking today weve had really hard rain all day.

ive read up and know exactly what needs doing

tried using the search function but working with computers isnt my strong point.

what sort of sealant have people used please

thanks ste

Try this;

http://www.google.co...62ee9d5898194e2 5th one down could be good. :thumbup:

The sites search isn't great - but you can use google to interegate the site instead. Just change the 'door sealant' to whatever you wanna search in future. Only 'issue' with that link is it covers Octavia etc forums too, but your question isn't really model specific, so shouldn't matter.

I never had to do mine, so can't give a direct answer I'm afraid.

Hope this helps!

thanks

hmm, handy tip. I'll be grabbing some of that then...

I'm using white bathroom silicone. Has held up for over a year now.

I used Everflex RoofnGutter sealant... £1.20 down my local DIY....

Best investment I ever made!!!!!!!

Roof and gutter here, not a drop came in through those doors since.

There's a good guide on Youtube that's worth a look before you start.
