I have sold my little baby :(

Featured Replies

Well after owning my little fabia for 5 years and doing a fair 164k miles in her , I have sold her

She is getting a final check over and clean all the rubbish from the boot

The new couple are picking her up on Monday night :( , the end of an era for me :'(

What on earth will I do now , she will not be here to talk to me in a morning

She has done 204k miles and still on the same clutch and turbo , still goes like stink , and loves a long drive

So all of you out there thinking that maybe your Fabia has seen better days , they go on forever

I am off to have another chat to her , as I have not told her yet

Sarah

Why are you getting rid if you love her soooo much? Grass greener...?!

Good to hear they go on and on. I'm either going to drive mine until it rolls over and dies or get a Mk II vRS (the box is putting me off though).

We have 2 parking spaces , mine and then my Mark`s Octy

But there is also the work`s van that Mark gets , so we are running out of space :(

The Octy is great too , so thought we would sell mine and get a bit of dosh too

So will have to treat us nw

:giggle: its cos I drive like a girl ;)

No , just let her warm up and cool down at the end of a run

I did 74 miles to work per day , and 74 miles back

When we had the bad snow , I was doing 144 miles to work and 144 back

So she had a fair few miles on her back

She did look after me :'( do miss her

Hi Steve

Well she had a bit of a bump last week , she went to the mum and dad of Mark`s bestest mate

So we do see her often

So still get to chat ;)

Oh OK I am mad

This is key to diesel engine longevity ,, regular good long use . Small town driving everyday will kill a vrs.

She was a 100PD , so 5 speed gearbox and the turbo is a bit stronger I think :dull: may be wrong though

but the 130`s seem to suffer with the turbo`s

She was remapped too 141BHP too

So we was a good team
