Spanner symbol of doom?

Featured Replies

Hi

bought blue thunder in October and have driven about 5k miles since then, my vrs le had been serviced when I got it but tonight as I drove home the mini spanner appeared on the lcd display, does this mean I have to take it to the dealers or (hopefully) is it likely the garage didn't reset the service interval thingummy!

Any help greatly appreciated.

cheers dan

Probably not been set properly, it can be reset by yourself it's in you manual.

A dealer shouldn't reset it without doing a service unless they did the last service and didn't reset it properly.

It means a service is due but as it's already been done it just needs reset which should have been done when it was serviced

I have seen a topic on here telling you how to reset the spanner sign but don't know what section it was in

Press the reset button with the ignition switched off andand hold it down.

Switch the ignition on, release the reset button and and turn the reset button

to the right. All counters will be reset to 0.
